Spring has sprung and that means it’s almost time for our annual #iSpySomethingWild competition. This year, we’ve made it even more exciting by teaming up with some of South Africa’s best adventure specialists to make your wildest bucket-list dreams come true!
Every week, you stand a chance of winning an amazing experience: great white shark cage diving with Marine Dynamics, tubing on the Palmier River with Gravity Adventures, floating above the clouds with Bill Harrops “Original” Balloon Safaris or getting up close and personal with the gentle giants of the deep on with Dyer Island Cruises? There’s also a thrilling grand prize worth R30,000 for one lucky winner!
Here’s how it works:
During the month of October, whenever you zipline with one of our Canopy Tour branches, keep your eyes peeled because to qualify for entry in #iSpySomethingWild, you need to spot a species (bird, beast or bug) and confirm its name with your guide.
Then back at base, record species name, your contact details and tell us about the ‘wildest thing’ you spotted during your Canopy Tour – this could be a view, an animal, natural wonder or even an adrenaline inducing moment.
For a bonus entry, share a photograph from your adventure with us using the #iSpySomethingWild hashtag and your quote as a caption on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (F: @CanopyToursSouthAfrica I: @canopytoursa T: @CanopyTourSA). Be sure to mention/tag the Canopy Tour branch you were at.
Weekly prizes will be awarded for the best quote from the past 7 days. For the grand prize, all weekly winners as well as top quotes from each branch will be submitted for public vote. The quote with the most votes across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter will win an adventure of a lifetime. A bonus prize for the best photograph will be awarded.
