In Kgoara village (Limpopo) with my mother, younger sisters and brother.
2.What were you doing before you started working as a Canopy Tour guide?
I was working as a gardener.
3.How long have you been working at the Magaliesberg Canopy Tour®?
I started with MCT in April 2009 as a casual safety guide and later that year I was promoted to Lead Guide.
4.What hobbies or other interests do you have?
Tubing down the river, and bird watching.
5.What do you enjoy most about working as a Canopy Tour guide?
Seeing the beautiful scenery around Magoebaskloof and enjoying forest bird species. I enjoy sharing information about any species in the environment. It could be birds or animals. It makes the trip good because some clients expect to learn and get to know the area well.
6.Which are your favourite sort of Canopy Tour clients?
Locals that speak Sepedi make the trip a lot of fun. International clients are interesting and tip well! Generally I like everyone, old and young, it makes no difference to me.
